• Trim Wicks: Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4 inch to ensure a clean, safe burn. A trimmed wick reduces the risk of excessive flickering or a high flame.

• Use a Proper Candle Holder: Always place candles in a proper holder to avoid spills, damage to surfaces, or risk of fire.

• Extinguish Candles Properly: Never blow out a candle, as this can cause hot wax to spill. Use a candle snuffer or dip the wick to extinguish the flame safely.
